Tara & Jonathan, We once had the honour of meeting you and your wonderful little boy at Coffee & Scream, about a year and a half ago. I'm so sad to hear your news today. He was such a happy, energetic little boy! I remember my daughter who was two at the time being drawn to him while they were playing, and I also remember chatting with both of you and thinking that you are such amazing parents and incredible people both for your strength in going through this ordeal with smiles on your faces and for giving him the best life he could have. Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Susan, Nick & Isla Lowry Cochrane, AB

Hi Tara and Jonathan; I watched all the videos and pictures and I have had a very good cries. You are very good parents to Alexander and he was an amazing and brave boy. When he was little, he reminded me on my son Faris, who just turned 9. I cannot imagine the pain you have to endure but your bravery is evident. Keep doing the great job, you are the great example of positive impact on others who suffer the same way. Take care.

My heart is aching for you and what you and your family had to endure, and the disgusting crime that brought your cause to light. I pray it will turn into something positive and you will not only recover what was lost but 10x more! I wish I could give more.

I was digusted and heartsick when I saw you guys on the news explaining how the funds you raised were stolen.......any updates on that? I am sending you a cheque and will put your info on my facebook page to encourage others to donate.Your little boy sounds like he was a rare and precious spirit, not to mention adorably cute. I am so so sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine your pain and I wish you all the best in the future.

What do you say to the loss of a child? Your story is so touching and your child so beautiful. I was disgusted that thieves stole from Alexander's fund raising and hope my donation is the first of many.

Your story touches my heart in so many ways. I lost my cousin at the age of 10 to a brain stem tumor. Inoperable. What happened to you yesterday is beyond forgivable. I hope you get everything and more back. I donated today and I'm spreading the word!!

I feel honored to have donated to Jonathan and Tara, especially after reading Alexander's story twice over. No parent should have to endure what you two endured with Alexander, but I am very glad to see what Jonathan and Tara have done. If there is anything else I can do (volunteering and such), please do not hesitate to e-mail me. I would be glad to assist.

That is so sad. My school is doing cancer month and donating to here. I took me two hours to read his story but it was worth it.
